Here are the answers to the questions we feel you might need to ask about the event.

How can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available to purchase in advance of the event online by clicking here.

How much are the tickets?

Advance tickets are priced from £32.50 per car for a Premium parking space for up to 5 family members and £40 per car for larger cars for up to 7 family members.  Express tickets for up to 5 occupants start at £35 per car and for a larger car with up to 7 occupants tickets start from £42.50. Premium Plus tickets start from £50. VIP have sold out!

The ticket price is per car and not per person, providing you do not exceed the legal limit of what is permitted for your vehicle, and everybody has their own seat within the vehicle.

Tickets for cars containing up to 5 people must be 1.8m in height or less and larger vehicle tickets can contain up to 7 occupants but must be no higher than 2m.

We may park larger, taller vehicles at the end of rows to ensure everyone gets a great view of the fireworks.

Please note vehicles attending are not permitted to have any attachments such as trailers.

Tickets are offered at special, discounted advance rates in two tiers, and once these sell out they will be priced at their full price. The prices are as follows:

Can I attend in a van?

You can come to the event in a van, provided it is 2m or less in height and contains less than 7 people from the same family. You will need to buy a large vehicle ticket if so.

Can I attend in a motorhome or any similar vehicle that's taller than 2m?

Sorry, we are unable to allow motorhomes or any other vehicle taller than 2m in height to attend the event.

Can I attend on a motorcycle?

Sorry, we are unable to cater for motorcycles at the event.

I haven’t received my ticket yet, or I’ve lost it, will I need it on the night?

Yes, you will need to show your ticket when you arrive at the event where it will be scanned and validated. You can either print your ticket to bring along or show it clearly on a mobile device.

Where is the event being held?

The event will take place on Saturday 19 December at Cheltenham Racecourse, Evesham Rd, Cheltenham GL50 4SH. A map is printed on the ticket for your reference.

When you enter the venue please look out for signage directing you where to go as you enter the site and follow signage or direction from stewards.

What time can I arrive?

Gates open at 4pm and close at 6.45pm, this allows a good window slot for entry, we do recommend getting to us as early as possible, the earlier you arrive, the better position you will enjoy and the earlier you will able to leave as all car park exits are via the front.

What will happen when I arrive?

On arrival, please when asked to put your printed ticket or a clear image of the QR code from your ticket downloaded to a mobile or tablet to your car window for our team to scan and validate.

You will then be directed to your parking area by our team. Each parking space will be a minimum of 4m in width and 7m in depth (VIP: 5m x 7m). Please drive slowly and sensibly once you are within the venue.

Can I reserve a car parking space in advance?

No, we cannot reserve spaces in advance. Our team will assign you a space on arrival. The earlier you arrive the closer you will be to the action and earlier you will be able to leave at the end of the show.

If you arrive in a larger, taller vehicle you may be positioned to the sides, however, you will still have a great viewing position within your section. 

Will there be disabled parking?

All parking is on gently sloping gravel or tarmac. Please select the relevant checkbox if you are a blue badge holder when buying tickets to help us identify numbers and we will endeavour to situate you closer to the site amenities as applicable.

Can I bring Sparklers and Fireworks?

Sparklers or fireworks of any description are NOT allowed at the venue during this event.

Can we get out of our vehicles at the event?

We request that you stay in your car until the fireworks start unless you need to visit the toilet or catering facilities. If you do so, please always wear a face mask/covering and observe social distancing guidelines.

We request that only one family member leaves your vehicle at any one time to visit the catering area to help reduce numbers and keep everyone safe.

When the firework display begins, you can watch the spectacle from your car or from immediately in front of your vehicle, again observing social distance guidelines, please.

Can I buy food and drink on-site?

There will be several catering options available at the event offering hot food and drinks, further information will be announced in advance of the event and provided on the night.  We politely ask that guests take any rubbish from eating and drinking home to dispose of or recycle.

Can I pay for food and drink with a Debit/Credit card?

Yes, you can. We ask that where possible card payment is made to reduce customer and staff contact.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

We are happy for you to bring your own food and/or drink if you wish. Please remember to think of the environment and safety of our site team and take your rubbish home to dispose of or recycle.

Are there toilet facilities?

Yes, there will be portaloo toilets on the site but please only use them if you really must. Please wash and sanitise your hands before and after using these toilets if need to use them.

Is there wheelchair access?

The site does have wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities. Whilst parking is on hardstanding, please be aware that this not a completely level site if you are a wheelchair user or have limited mobility.

Are there people on site to help me?

Our team will be on-site to assist with all your needs. They will be identifiable with high-vis jackets. So please approach one of the team, respecting social distancing rules, if you require assistance. Please do NOT sound your car horn or flash your lights for attention.

Am I able to bring my dog/pet?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of this event dogs and pets are NOT permitted to attend. We ask that all animals remain safely at home or with family/friends.

Can I keep my engine running?

Once parked we would prefer that you do not keep your engine running, in the interest of the environment and comfort of other site users. We advise warm clothing instead. Please be aware that we do not have facilities on-site to jump start your car if your battery is flat.

How many people can I bring?

The price of your ticket is per car not per person. Providing that everyone fits safely in a seat and your car does not have more people than it legally allows. We position vehicles so that everyone can have a good view of the display however, ultimately this depends on the vehicle you arrive in and who sits where is up to you. Anybody found not adhering to this rule may be refused entry or asked to leave the site.

What happens when the show is over?

Our Security team will be there to direct cars to the exit safely. We request that you do not move your car until directed to do so that we can exit everybody safely and quickly. If you have any trouble with your vehicle and are unable to move, please remain stationary until all cars have departed and our team will be able to assist.

Can I get an exchange or refund on my tickets?

If the event is postponed due to a change in government regulations all tickets will be valid for a new date for the event. Tickets are non-refundable.

Track & Trace

We have the contact details of the person who booked your ticket(s). If for any reason after the event there is a need to contact you with regard to Covid-19, we will do using this information.

Can I come if I’ve tested positive for Coronavirus or have been informed I have been in contact with someone who has tested positive within 14 days of the event?

No, sadly not. If you or any of your household/bubble has tested positive, are experiencing symptoms, or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for Coronavirus within 14 days of Saturday 19 December, please DO NOT attend the event. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
